Where does your data go?

All your bike data, components, mileage, replacement history and costs are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.

Photos and documents are saved in the app's local storage. They never leave your device unless you share them manually.

Theme, language, units, currency, owner profile and notification preferences. All stored locally, never transmitted.

Maintenance reminders are generated and scheduled locally on your device. No push notification server is involved.

When you open the map in the Mechanics section, map images (tiles) are loaded from OpenStreetMap servers. Your device's IP address and the visible map area are sent with each request.

When you use GPS to set a mechanic's location, coordinates are sent to Nominatim to get a street address. Queries are logged per the OSMF Privacy Policy.

When you search for an address on the map, the text is sent to Nominatim to find the location. Same logging policy as above: OSMF Privacy Policy.

A ZIP file is created locally, then shared via the system share sheet. You choose the destination: cloud storage, email, AirDrop, USB drive. We never see or store your backups.

Reports are generated locally on your device. The resulting file is shared via the system share sheet, just like backup. We never access it.

When you tap "navigate" for a mechanic, a Google Maps link opens in your browser or Maps app. The mechanic's coordinates are in the URL. This happens only when you tap the button.
